ishaq - alana likes ishaq a lot. he's charming and intelligent and his ability to talk his way out of anything is impressive and super useful. she's also very aware he's wearing a mask most of the time, and she prefers the sincere side of him she's seen over the way he tends to act when he's backed in a corner by the other party members. in general, she thinks the rest of the group is far too quick to dismiss him and doesn't have an accurate read on him. there are also parts of his philosophy she agrees with and parts she doesn't—fuck the crown and their fakey fake gods, but pretending that you can prevent real gods from influencing the world strikes her as naive.
sol - sol is a sweetheart and she thinks he tends to agree with his charges more the other guards do, or a guard technically should. he's just doing his job, but she gets the vibe that if it came down to it and the crown ordered him to do something unfair or cruel to them, he might just take their side. it seems like he's not doing this job by choice. also, the fact that he eats flowers is adorable.
alice - alana digs how levelheaded and compassionate alice seems. she's also strong and has cool af magic, so +20 points. she appreciates alice's strong moral compass, even if she doesn't think it's always realistic.
fishboy - adorable? sort of sad? alana feels bad for him tbh, but she's also Super Curious. plus, he's kind of a kindred spirit with the whole affinity for water and animals thing.
tismora - buff af and fucks shit up in a fight, so +20 points again. tismora is also a Big Nerd, which alana finds endearing.
raul - pretty cool, as far as guards go. not as cool as sol, but he's willing to talk and plan with them and doesn't strike her as incredibly in love with the crown, either. useful to have around, minus the fact that he could kill all of them.
markoris - quiet and super attached to alice. alana doesn't have much of a read on him yet, but his sneakiness is very cool.
corym - he's in love with that jug and turned to stone once. alana needs to talk with him more rip.
talia - those illusion spells are cool af, and alana loves them. teach her, senpai.
celia - the mushroom thing and the spore telepathy is cool, but alana doesn't trust celia, and she's super hard to read. her super secret plans with ishaq are probably not going to turn out to be anything great. there's something unsettling about celia that alana can't put her finger on, but she thinks celia has ambitions that alana doesn't know about and that might make her screw people over.
max - she thinks max is tolerable? sort of. greedy and selfish and closed off, but whatever, except his plan was stupid and she'll never understand why he thought a strategy with such a high chance of death for the entire party/getting someone like ayleen firmly on their bad side was a good idea. TRY HARDER, MAX.
